UNSDG-4 GOAL : How Shashi Dream Foundation is Reaching To Underprivileged?
Mission to Provide Quality Education To Every Underprivileged kid
United Nations Sustainable Development goal-4 aims at easy accessibility to quality education in higher secondary level and thus attaining universal literacy. However, issues such as poverty, community conflict etc. pose a challenge towards achieving these goals. In comparison to the ancient times, India has changed its’ approached a lot and is working hard for the sustainable development of the country with the help of several organizations like the Shashi Dream Foundation. Despite all these, the situations of poverty force families to employ their children for some or the other work at an early age so as to evade a hunger crisis thereby denying their right to education. SDF has been working its best since the start of the organization to help the children study well and make them feel equipped so that they can deal with challenges that the society or the world might present.
Shashi Dream Foundation mainly focuses on those children who don’t even have seemingly basic resources such as pen and notebooks so as to continue further with their education. The organization started its first Shashi Paathshala in Katol to focus on the underprivileged children and offer them education completely free of cost. They didn’t compromise on the quality of education provided to them and helped the children stay motivated every single day. They are still hustling hard to setup a digital classroom in Shashi Paathshala so that more children get benefitted with this endeavour.
Every step, every move they make is in that direction wherein no child should feel that he/she is underprivileged and should feel at par with other children. They strive to maintain equality in the quality of education, facilities, stationaries, love and care that the children receive. The kinds of efforts made by SDF to provide these facilities are quite appreciable and admirable. The basic belief of the SDF is that every child of the country underprivileged or privileged is the future of India. The efforts they put towards the upliftment of the underprivileged are truly commendable and they are making more efforts towards providing the best quality education. The strength of SDF is increasing day by day and that is really a confidence booster for every child in Shashi Paathshala.
Bringing the best out of the children in the Paathshala, they also take in account the children of other schools also by conducting general knowledge exams which would make children more informed. The children achieving good results are to be felicitated.
This successful and empowering journey of SDF ought to always continue this successfully so that the children can leave their mark and impressions on the world.
