Mr.Akshay Deshpande (Head of Administration in MNC)

SESSION: 8

Our first session of phase 2 was started by AKSHAY DESHPANDE on 11th May 2020. He spoke with the viewers on Hotel Management. He is the HEAD of ADMINISTRATION in an MNC. He has given his 7 years in Hotel Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management. He has done a diploma in cooperate facilities. He has experience of 10+ years in the hotel, MNC, and event management company. He shared many details with us like who can do HM, it’s scope, top colleges, fee structure. So, our session started with the scope of hotel management. There are many sectors like hotels, restaurants, resorts, fast-food chains, etc. A hotel management professional can be employed in any of the fields. This profession has a very huge demand in abroad countries. There are many courses that one can choose in Hotel Management. One has to give the entrance exam to get admission into various courses. He discussed the exam which is conducted in the month of April. One has to go through NCHMCT JEE. The question and answer session were also very informative. There were many questions asked by our viewers and he answered each question very politely. He gave us information about the top colleges that are in India like IHM’s, Welcome group Graduate School of HM; NIPS, Kolkata etc. He shared about his experience and learning during his journey and at workplace. Through this session, we think he has inspired many. He gave his viewers a SUCCESS MANTRA that Patience is must in whichever field you are in. You need to love your work to succeed”.

Mrs. Amrita Banerjee (Placement Co-ordinator in Frankfinn)

SESSION: 9

AMRITA BANERJEE is working as TRAINING and PLACEMENT CO-ORDINATOR in Frankfinn Institute. She shared the live platform on 12th May 2020. She has over 8+ years of experience working in training, development, and operations. She guided our viewers on how they can crack for an interview and what skills are required. She has done MBA in finance and HR. She explored her knowledge and skills with T.I.M.E. She got us through many topics in session. How you perform when you go inside the interview room decides your selection. She gave some tips that should be done before going for an interview like Research about the company, learn about your positives and negatives, know your unique selling prepositions with examples, prepare for common interview questions, and many more. The common saying “the first impression is the last impression” still has the same importance, our speaker explained this very well. She explained how important is our body language, which decides your further interview. Sometimes the interviewer asks the interviewee that ‘Do you have any questions to ask us?’, so to this question never say ‘NO’. Never mug up things. Later on, she covered how we can prepare. Best which we can do is stand in front of the mirror and practice. This will help you to see yourself how you are doing. The most important aspect of an interview is ‘Punctuality’. She covered every detail which is necessary for an interview. She gave many useful tips which will surely help us. SUCCESS MANTRA for her is “practice, practice, and just practice.

Mrs.Henna Bansal (Senior Analyst in Gartner Research)

SESSION: 10

Here we were with our very next session with HENNA BANSAL, who is a SENIOR ANALYST in GARTNER RESEARCH. She took the command of session on 13th May, 2020 which aimed at Computer Science Engineering. She has done Computer Science Engineering from CITM, Faridabad. And her MBA from IIM ROHTAK. At present she consults organizations on relevant IT technologies for implementation. She gave us her precious time in imparting us with so much of knowledge. She talked about scope in CSE, that the demand is so high that IT companies recruit engineers not only from CS and IT branch but also from other branches like Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics. Some of the top most colleges for CSE and other Engineering is IIT’s, NIIT’s, IIIT’s. One can also go for state colleges. The fee structure for this course is around 10 lakhs, 15 lakhs. Exams are conducted to get admission into this course. She is inspired by the famous Steve Jobs. Our speaker logical ability, mathematical ability, computer skills and the business abilities. These four things are the basic that you need get establish in this profession. There is a huge scope of placements in this field. She shared that if you are doing hard-work in your specific field but you haven’t set any goal then you may or may not achieve that goal. You need to have interest the field in which you want to make your career. She gave a very good SUCCESS MANTRA that “One need to have big enough goals to achieve.” Her session made everyone to choose their career in this field.

Mr. Akash Barua (President Rotaract Club,Gwalior)

SESSION: 11

This session was taken by MR. AKASH BARUA, the PRESIDENT, ROTARACT CLUB of Gwalior, REGAL RID 3053. On 14th May, 2020 he gave his precious time for our counselling session. He is a Young Social Activist awarded with champions of change award by TCS REX and UNITED NATIONS in IIT, Delhi; Skill minds Special Appreciation award in Patna; and Brand Gwalior award for working on development of the youth. If you want to do social work then it’s necessary to have patience as this will be the time when some will support and rest will oppose you. There is a very wide and limitless scope in this field. Job opportunities will never end up in this field. There are 3 skills which are must for this field i.e., Patience, Communication and Team Work. To make social work as your career one has pursue BSW (Bachelor in Social Work). There are colleges which offer this course like Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Delhi School of Social work, Madras School of Social Work etc. In TISS, the average fee structure is Rs.1 Lakhs approx., DSSW has approx. Rs.20,000 to Rs.30,000. For this course one has to give entrance exam and have to face the interview. Later on, he shared his inspiration. He is inspired by the famous CHANAKYA and SWAMI VIVEKANANDA. He shared inspirational story with his viewers. He gave a very good SUCCESS MANTRA that “Always do that work which you love to do” and “Believe that you are the BEST”. His session was motivational and all the viewers felt the same

Mr.Sanjay Maldhure, (Gold Medalist in MFA)

SESSION: 12

Our 12th series of session on 15th May 2020 was based on Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) which was carried out by SANJAY MALDHURE, a DRAWING TEACHER in Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Nagpur. At his earlier stage, he was unaware of the career in fine arts. Later on, he got to know about the different aspects of arts. He has done his diploma in Art Education from Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai. He has been honored with gold medal in Master of Fine Arts from RTM Nagpur University. He has won more than 10 awards in the field of art. He made a very good point that ‘A artist is one who can bring his imagination to real’. There are different forms of art like creative, modern, conceptual art and there more. One has to take good knowledge of these art forms. In this modern world, there are still some people or places where people consider a painter and an artist as same. A painter can paint the ideas that someone else has given whereas an artist can apply his creativity. He explained that there are 2 parts in BFA, one is the department of painting and the another one is commercial art. One has to give entrance exam to get into this. He discussed various forms of art. He always had interest in art, and decided to make career in fine arts. Later on, he discussed about colleges like Faculty of visual arts, College of Art, Sir JJ Institute of Applied Arts. His teacher was his inspiration. “Keep working in the area of your interest, you will get fruitful results someday”, this was the SUCCESS MANTRA shared by him.

Rj Preeti (Project Head at 91.9 Radio Orange FM)

SESSION: 13

Here we have the famous RJ with us, RJ PREETI. She joined us on 16th may, 2020 which was our 13th session. She is a RJ and VOICE ARTIST. At present she is working as a Project Head at Radio Orange, 91.9, Nagpur, broadcasting in 3 cities, Akola, Bilaspur, and Sangli. She is a B.COM graduate and has done Mass Communication from Department of Mass Communication RTMNU. To start with her career journey, she explored many things. She advised her viewers that if you are getting attracted to something, then give it a try and you will get the result and decide. This field is something where you will explore in different fields. There is a huge scope in this career now as compared to earlier. She shared the skillset required for this to name some are like good in communication, interaction, story-telling etc. Best colleges or institutes where one can go is Xavier Institute of Communication, Mumbai; Academy of Radio Management, New Delhi and there is more which offer which offer this course. One can go for diploma course as well. With all these discussions she shared some of the incidents. She learned a lot during her journey of work. She gave very good advice that ‘Never judge someone’. Everyone has different perspectives and views. RJ is a profession where you will not be provided with the scripts, you have to your own writer. So, before writing you have to see all the different aspects what you speak. She gave a very amazing SUCCESS MANTRA that, “Be true to yourself”. She gave a lot of information on RJ’s career.

Mr. Srinath Balasubramanian (Compositing Aritist)

SESSION: 14

Last session of Phase 2 focused on the career in visual effects with our guest speaker SRINATH BALASUBRAMANIAN. This session took place on 17th, May, 2020. He is a COMPOSITING ARTIST in a PICTURE MOVING COMPANY. He did his Bachelor in Electronics and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology and Secondary Diploma in Visual Effects. At a workshop he realized about his interest in visual effects, then he started working in this field only. Talking about the scope in visual effects, he says, there are various concepts in this which can be used at many places like educational, architecture, medicines, entertainment and more fields. Basic skills that one need to have is coding, good understanding of colors and logical reasoning. He named some colleges/institutes where you can go for this course like ARENA Animation, MAAC etc. One can pursue this course from abroad also. Further we discussed types visual effects, some are like 3D-Modelling, structuring, lightning, and compositing. He discussed various topics with us which are trending in today’s world. He shared like AVATAR, Avengers, Star Wars, Jurassic Park etc. are movies where we can see some of the best visual effects. He gave us detail of some topmost companies. In this field you get immediate results whatever you do. There is a scope of problem-solving skills in this profession. When asked about SUCCESS MANTRA, he responded, ‘Just stay disciplined and focused. And always maintain the space between your work space and personal space.’ This session was very informative to know about visual effects.
