SHRI, NIKHIL JAIN, Founder and CEO, ForeignAdmits.com and CollegeBharti.com

SESSION: 22

Here we began our PHASE 4 with MR. NIKHIL JAIN, who is the FOUNDER and CEO at ForeignAdmits.com and College Bharti.com. This session took place on 25th May 2020 and aimed at Higher Education, LinkedIn and Resume. He is a researcher but turned as an entrepreneur whose work has been recognized by Door darshan and MHRD. He is has done his graduation from IIT BHU. He was one of them who got featured in Brainfeed Magazine as ‘Top 30 under 30’. For this session he talked to us on how one can build an effective resume. He shared that how he used to do try different things for fun but later on those different things gave him the idea of startup. He made out the difference between a resume and a CV. CV is a detailed information about yourself while resume is job targeted limited only to 1 page only. He gave us information on how we can write a cover letter, he says, this varies from person to person and job to job. It should not be like an essay. For work experience, one can have job, internships, projects, volunteering to add effectiveness your resume. LinkedIn offers you better job, internships opportunities. For this he shared his own fact, he got almost all the job and internship offer from LinkedIn. There is very less exposure in Indian education as compared to foreign education. He lists down some differences between Indian and Foreign education. After COVID-19, there will be change in the jobs most preferably manufacturing field. He gave a very good point, be a JOB CREATOR rather than being a job seeker. Build you skills as much as possible. The most famous personality DR. APJ ABDUL KALAM is his inspiration. SUCCESS MANTRA for him is, ‘Don’t waste your time and never betray yourself’.

DR. ANUPRIYA, Physiotherapist

SESSION:23

On 26th May 2020, we organized our next session with DR. ANUPRIYA. She is a PHYSIOTHERAPIST with 3+ years of experience. The session started with her career journey. She did her Bachelors from University of Delhi and later on, she joined Indian Spinal Injuries Center for Masters, specializing in Orthopedics. She has worked with leading healthcare facilities like BLK Super Specialty Hospital and ISIC, New Delhi. This session aimed at how one can make career as a physiotherapist. To get enroll in this course it is must to have physics, chemistry and biology in 11th and 12th. After clearing entrance exam one can have admission in college. The fee structure varies from government to private college. To name some top colleges are Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy, National Institute for Person with Physical Disabilities, NIRTAR, Jamia Hamdard, Amity, Manipal, and there are more to this list. She discussed the different fields one can have after completing graduation or post-graduation some are orthopedics, pediatrics, neurological etc. She guided us about the techniques used in this field like electrotherapy, manipulation, exercise. She gave us many useful points that helped all the viewers. She also detailed us about her field of specialization i.e. muscular skeletal physiotherapy. She gave our viewers a very good advice that always take experts advice to get yourself treated. In this COVID-19, patients are getting online advices from their experts and this will continue after COVID also. She also us some tips that can be followed in our day-to-day life like try to maintain your body fit by doing walking, light exercise. At last, she shared the SUCCESS MANTRA, ‘Follow your passion and be dedicated always.’

MS. HEETA LAKHANI, Focal Point at Youth Constituency of the UNFCCC

SESSION:24

MS. HEETA LAKHANI shared the live platform with us on 27th May 2020. She is currently the FOCAL POINT from the global south YOUTH CONSTITUENCY of the UNFCCC. She has done her Masters in Environmental Studies and Resource Management. She has attended many UNFCCC negotiations since COP21, Paris in 2015. The session started with her career journey. She chose this career as from her childhood she loves the nature a lot. She shared an incidence which was a turning point that made her to come in this field. The real passion is required to come into this field. There are various courses in this field that one can pursue. She named some top colleges where one can pursue environmental sciences like JNU, Fergusson University in Pune, DU and more. To the fee structure she says, it varies from college to college but the average is 20,000–3lakhs. People who are interested in research they should definitely go for P.HD. She says, environment is itself a whole world of topic which has a lot to learn about and work for it. She gave a very good advice to all of us, before buying something think of its impact and think if it is a need or a want. If you see something harming our environment do raise your voice. She introduced us with the major problems that are prevailing over time and need to be measured out. She discussed about the recent cyclone ‘AMPHAN’. She is inspired by a lot of people. We learned a lot about environment in this session. She gave a very beautiful message that, ‘ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR HEART AND WORK TOWARDS IT FEARLESSLY.’

MS. AKSHITA JAIN, Holistic and Lifetstyle Expert

SESSION:25

We organized this session for the people who want to make a career in wellness and beauty. To guide students in this field we had AKSHITA JAIN with us on 28th May 2020. She is a HOLISTIC AND LIFESTYLE EXPERT. She is a keynote speaker on multiple platforms like TEDx. She is a millennial modern-day Spiritual Yogi, Raw Vegan Chef and Wellness Expert and Educator in the field of Lifestyle Medicine using the tools of Ayurveda and functional medicine. She was graduated from Microbiology. But she was always passionate about beauty industry so after her marriage she decided to follow her passion. She discussed about the natural beauty and how it is trending nowadays. The wellness and yoga industry are going to rise high in coming years. She named few top most colleges like for Naturopathy and Yogic Science it is S. Vyasa University in Bangalore offering 4 year degree program. If you want to do some diploma course then there is a website called AYUSH MINISTRY. She gave many useful tips on how we can maintain our skin and our health. Some are like sleep well, eat well, don’t stand and drink water, use natural products for skin like potato and gram flour combination; tomato pulp etc. Her session helped our viewers to learn about their skin and taking care of it. She has many inspirations in the field of wellness and beauty. She gave a very beautiful message ‘Do what you are passionate about and know about your responsibilities while following it. And always do what you love to do’.

SHRI. VIJAY DHOKE, New Vision IAS Academy

SESSION:26

This session took place on 29th May 2020 with VIJAY DHOKE who is working in NEW VISION IAS ACADEMY. He guided us on how we can crack UPSC and other competitive exams. He has 13 years of training experience. He is an Art’s graduate. He has also worked with Government of Maharashtra in competitive exam projects and workshops. This was one of the most awaited session and it turned out to be very informative. He says, there are no such skills for this field but one really need motivation, inspiration, and passion. He discussed how we can start preparing. Aspirants should start from the basic level and NCERT books are must to read. There are 3 stages in UPSC exam- Preliminary known as CSAT with 2 objective-type papers; Main exam of 9 papers of conventional type; and then comes Interview. He guided that newspaper reading is very important and be aware of the current affairs. He gave us many useful information and cleared all the doubts of the aspirants. He discussed about MPSC, SSC CHSL, IBPS etc. Try to improve your strength and weaknesses. Make notes for future revision and revision is very must. While giving the exam, at first try to focus on the questions that you are sure about and later on try attempt the questions on which you want to take risk. These all were the tips that were shared by our guest speaker. Never panic while giving the exam and stay focused. Never stress your self always give some time to your body as well and take rest in between this will help you to study for hours. He gave a SUCCESS MANTRA, ‘Stay focused and try to work hard to achieve your goal.’

MS. SARITA KUMARI, Grooming and Aviation Trainer

On 30th May 2020 we had MS. SARITA KUMARI, who has 11 years of experience as FLIGHT ATTENDANT in Jet Airways India Ltd and Etihad Airways. She is a Grooming and Aviation Trainer at Frankfinn Institute of Airhostess Training. She shared the live platform with us to guide on career in AVIATION. She briefed us about skills and scope in this field. One should have spirit of teamwork, politeness, leadership as your soft skills. She shared 4 things that one need to know about cabin crew, that are, taking care of the passengers, service standards, grooming, and safety and security. There are many departments that are assigned to the flight attendants. The criteria are you should be 18+, 12th pass from a recognized board, height of girls must be above 160cm and boys above 165cm, good health, fluency in English and few more are there. There are many top institutes which provide training, she named few of them like Frankfinn in Delhi and Mumbai, Wings, PTC, IGIA etc. There are also many ground level opportunities like security staff, commercial staff, operations and many more. The flight attendants are paid according to their flight hours and also there is a fixed amount. About this job she says, one will enjoy this this job as here you will meet different people from different countries, and will enjoy staying in 5 star hotel. She provided each and every detail that were necessary for someone before going in this field. She answered each and every question of the participants. At last she gave the SUCCESS MANTRA to us that, ‘NEVER GIVE UP AND ALWAYS TRY TO HAVE A HAPPY MIND.
