Science with technology-perfect combination

What is really ‘science’?Is it merely a subject, that students have to learn by heart in their schools and after that, they can forget it!!! Science is a much bigger thing than being a “subject”. Scope of science is as big as the universe, there are countless questions that arise in our mind each second, very few of them are answered yet and answered by whom? By a scientist who not only just studied science as a subject but as questions and they are now trying very hard to find solutions if their questions to satisfy their curious soul.

Technology is a word used quite often these days, but do we really know its true meaning? Technically it can be defined as” Technology (“science of craft”, from Greek, techne, “art, skill, the cunning of hand”; and -logia) is the sum of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives. What comes to our mind when we think of technology are computers, phones, laptop, tabs, etc

It's exciting to think how would be the fusion of these two boons, science helps us to know different reasons and facts behind the phenomenon but we can implement them and work on them only with the help of technology. A combination of science and technology is like science is a pen that is filled with the ink of reasons and facts and paper is like technology that provides a platform to express those. But here not all people can use this pen only those who can it effectively are clear about the use of both pen and paper.

Those few people include scientists. “As everything exists because of a reason” that’s what science says same way there is a reason for every subject being studied in schools and one of them includes science, their science as a student empowers the student to run behind their curious questions, it let them know the basic reasons and logics and then let them free to make their own laws. In schools, students are taught how to use technology as a boon. That's why it can be concluded that school is the first step that empowers students to progress on the ladder on development and its very imperative to let the students know the importance of having a scientific mindset and how to use it with technology in the best possible way.

Developing generations and building the nation

The government of our country know that there is a must need of having students with a scientific mindset who know how to sync it with technology and get maximum out of it, thus they have taken various steps such as:

A global movement called March for Science has been started.
India has become an Associate Member State of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN)
The Department of Science and Technology has launched ‘Visiting Advanced Joint Research Faculty’ (VAJRA), to bring together the Indian scientists abroad and India-based researchers for conducting joint researches in India.

Not only government but various educational institutions such as schools also know the depth of this issue and thus they also organize various competitions, science exhibitions, and events such as poster making, slogan writing, essay writing, as these help them to know about what are the different brilliant outputs those can be obtained by exploring.

This field of science and technology and only they can contribute to it.

Science helps one to know what is an electron, how the reaction is taking place but who will believe it until will see himself, these small electrons are then involved in the working of big devices. If the one who made smartphones for the first time didn’t know about electrons, radioactive waves, and with that different mechanism of electronics had he made smartphones? These days it's possible to see the anatomy of not only different plants and animals but also we are able to study microscopic organisms. We are exploiting them for our use because now we know many things about them and this became possible only because of technology. We are using X-rays to diagnose different diseases, also we are making different medicines for the same also with the aid of technology.

The graph shows, statistics of individuals getting jobs in data science in India. Though India is progressing in this field of science and technology still there are many schools, which are not even having microscopes in their laboratories, no computers in their computer labs, and science is taught merely like a subject and not more than not

Thus, the need of the hour is our active participation to work for our countries development and to leave no stone unturned to combine science and technology together and explore the magical results obtained. The young minds need to be filled with inquisitive creative questions and the way how to solve them because,

“The Science of today is the technology of tomorrow ”
