Poverty V/S Tuition fee
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”
Indeed the old saying is very right, but what if someone isn’t capable enough to invest? Poor children who aren’t able to get a one-time meal will surely choose food over the book. It is really horrifying to note that there are a number of talented children who aren’t ready to get an education simply because of their poverty.
It’s truly imperative to coach them as education not only strengthens our country’s economy and thus development but also education makes them self-reliant and a responsible individual. For years we are knowing that a lot of underprivileged children don’t seem to be able to move to school. But now the time has changed this new generation is of latest youth that knows the way to find different alternatives of success during failure. As fees of faculties are really an enormous amount therefore we’ve got discovered an excellent alternative to high school which is ‘tuition’ because the aim remains same to coach them and thus empower them to guide the trail of data and wisdom and therefore the problem of their poverty also gets resolved.
But, still, there are many children who aren’t even ready to pay the tutoring fee, following graph shows the share of kids getting an education from rural people as compared to the youngsters from urban and suburban areas.
As is often clearly seen and understood that thanks to their poverty, these poor children aren’t able to get an education that the alarming need of the hour is to bring change in their filthy state but to accomplish a change action needs to be taken evidently. The government of our country has planned fruitful various programs for the upliftment of this pure and poor soul such as:
1. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)
2. National Program for Education of Girls at Elementary Education (NPEGEL)
3. Midday Meal Scheme
4. Right to Education (RTE) Act
5. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao
6. Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya
7. Scheme for Infrastructure Development in Minority Institutes (IDMI)
Still, there are many underprivileged children whose needs remain unfulfilled. There are some responsible citizens of our country who took this initiative to enlighten these poor little souls with knowledge and that they formed NGOs by spreading awareness to others also. Also, there are some who are springing up with creative ideas to assist these children to grow and explore.
Three years ago, Parmita Sarma and Mazin Mukhtar arrived within the area and founded the Akshar Foundation School, they came up with an innovative idea: asking parents to pay their children’s school fees with plastic waste. This way, families can afford to stay with their children in class for extended. And not only do the pupils learn to manage money, but they also get a practical lesson within the financial benefits of getting an education.
Also, there’s an NGO “Shashi dream foundation ” that empowers young minds to grasp their latent talent and talents as they supply the underprivileged students with books and resources to check. Also, they spread awareness for this cause too, so that many folks can get close to figuring out the reason behind helping these poor little souls to soak up knowledge and grow.
Let’s be together and help these young sweet buds to bloom. There are many things that we will do like we will donate and help increase the funds of NGOs those are working for the upliftment of those underprivileged children by providing them studying material to check and while contributing during this cause we must not forget that,
“The little buds of beautiful lotus grows in the mud”
We just adore these sweet young children and should work for their upliftment.
