Notebook Distribution Drive — A Day Well Spent
‘Shiksha’ is the stationery distribution drive campaign by Shashi Dream Foundation. Its main purpose is to help underprivileged children to study. There are a lot of children in the need of education. Shashi Dream Foundation urges the volunteers to distribute stationery items so that the children move towards the path of education.
As a part of the stationery distribution program by Shashi Dream Foundation, Ishita Sukhija of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh spent a beautiful day distributing notebooks, pens, and toffees among children from a nearby village.
Ishita enjoyed her day to the fullest while distributing the goods. While distributing the notebooks, she also came to know that a lot of children didn’t attend school. This was really disheartening to hear. Even in today’s age, there are still a lot of innocent children who remain deprived of education.
Ishita taught them English alphabets after the distribution drive was over. Around ten children were benefitted from this distribution drive.
The children were very happy to receive the goods. All in all, it was a very fulfilling experience.
Shashi Dream Foundation encourages its workers to engage with the community and to help people in whichever way possible. It helps in inculcating empathy and kindness in the people.
