Whatever your chosen emphasis is, the main aim is to perform practical skills in the kitchen. Owners or operators are often trained in the kitchen before becoming a restaurant entrepreneur. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Culinary Arts courses are available both at Graduate and Postgraduate levels. Culinary Arts courses offered at the UG level are mostly of three years duration. Culinary Arts courses offered at the PG level are also of three years duration.
For UG in Culinary Arts:
1) They have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with passing marks.
2) SC/ST candidates have 5% relaxation on passing marks.
3) Age of the candidate must be between 17 to 24 years.
For PG in Culinary Arts:
1) Candidates need to be graduates.
2) Aspirants who possess a graduation degree in hotel/ hospitality management are preferred.
3) Candidates from other streams are also eligible to apply for PG level Culinary Arts courses if they have required skills.
