SESSION: 1
Our foremost 1st session was initiated on 4th may, 2020 with Mr. ASHISH TAYWADE. He is a corporate trainer, career mentor and a motivational speaker. He has 13+ years of experience in academics and industry. He completed his B.E. and M.E. in Mechanical engineering and MBA in Human Resource Management. This session helped many in clearing their doubts regarding career selection. The main agenda of this session was to share the career mantra and our honorable guest. The discussion was focused on “How to choose career after completing intermediate”, as most of us are aware of the traditional career options. Our speaker emphasized on the need to discover individual’s career interest. Courses such as Food technology, Pyro Techniques. He shared his journey and experiences which were motivating and inspirational. Also, vitality of parent’s role in choosing their children’s career was discussed. The importance of parent’s support and encouragement was highlighted. The Career Mantra shared was the need to know your interest field and peruse that career. We had a very informative session with Ashish Sir. Viewers were able to discover ideas related to varied career opportunities in this session.
SESSION: 2
On 5th may we organized our 2nd session with Mr. SANDEEP MUDALKAR. He is the founder and CEO of Sytech Labs Pvt Ltd. He is a Cyber Crime Security Expert and Investigator. He has also worked with Indian Army, BSF, Telangana police, AP police, Customs and Central tax, NISG, CDTI, MCHRDI, APHRDI and many more. He is certified with RHCSS, MCITP and CCNP, RHCE, CISCO pix firewall, CISSP. His journey started in 2006 when he was doing his B.TECH. He shared the work culture and specialization of his present company. He explained cyber crime security in details and also discussed career options related to this field. He suggested the students to continue this profession with patience and self-interest. And also clarified that this profession is open for all in spite of background such as engineer, intermediate pass out, teacher, and others. Candidates below 18 years are not eligible to get into this profession. You must bear good command in computer hardware and software, and be aware of internet usage and web browsing. He suggested that whenever we start something, we try to search it on you tube but don’t go for that as they skip some steps and you will be messed up. He gave detailed information on the courses and packages. He also shared tip for cyber security. The session was interesting and informative for all the viewers.
SESSION: 3
We had CHEF KIRAN JOSHI, an executive chef at HARLEY’s FINE BAKING COMPANY, with us on our 3rd session. He was with us on 6th May, 2020 live on Instagram and Facebook.This career counselling session was intended for those having interest in culinary arts and love for food. He has worked with many star hotels and cruises. He has completed Bachelor’s in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts from Culinary Academy of India. He has worked with Leela Palace, Bangalore; Taj sats air catering and P&O cruises; Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar; IHM Shri Shakti; Begumpet, Hyderabad. He shared his entire career journey with us. The further discussion of the session covered culinary facts. Culinary is the key to become a chef. Who all should go for this? To this, he responded- “If you are really passionate about food and cooking then only you should go for hotel management course. And from there your journey will start. From there your personality, experiences, communication and observing skills will improve.” He gave some examples of few colleges from where we can persue this course. A few to name are CAI, IIHM in Hyderabad, Symbiosis in Pune which provide 3 years degree in culinary arts. The SUCCESS MANTRA which he shared with us is “If you have real passion for something then follow it with full dedication.
SESSION: 4
Mr.ATUL BHISE, Operations Executive at Holdiayme, shared the live platform with us on 7th may 4th Session. This session was completely based for those who have a love for travelling and want to make a career in travel and tourism industry. The entire session was based on travel and tourism industry and how the tourism industry is being affected by COVID-19. One of the interesting fact that our honorable speaker shared with us was most of the Indians prefer going to Singapore, Dubai. Later on, he shared about his education, he did his graduation in Hotel and Tourism Management and MBA in tourism. We can get courses related to travel and tourism along with hotel management. And there are several institutes which offers this course like IHM, Chennai, Indian Institute of Travel and Management, ITTI and more. There is course called BA tourism studies which is a 3 year course to get degree for this profession. If you clear your entrance test then you have to face counseling. He discussed the top recruiting areas and job positions in this field. IP college of DU is at top and Loyola in Chennai than comes LSR then follows ST. Xavier’s College. In IP the average fee is 6000/year. He answered the questions asked by our viewers. It was a great session and has helped many in choosing this profession.

On 8th May, 2020 we had Mr. GAURAV SETHI, Assistant vice-president in a public sector bank with us. This session mainly discussed career in Bachelor of Business Administration. If talking about his work, his main role is marketing related like to run marketing campaigns, strategies, policies and products. His domain is sales and marketing. He shared his journey about getting into this field and inspiration behind this was his father. This session was really informative for all those who aspire to get into BBA . He shared the information regarding all top colleges, admission procedure, their courses, fee structure and the package. Each university has its own entrance exam. After BBA you may prepare for CAT to pursue MBA. Skills required for this course are innovation and creativity, confidence, communication and body language and your capability to apply theory into practical. This session helped a lot of students to choose the right career option.SUCCESS MANTRA shared by him was pursue career by your choice not by chance. Always follow your dreams and your passion. Then only way you can excel into a specialized field is your dedication and commitment.
SESSION: 6
This session was held on 9th may, 2020 with Mr. ADITYA LOHE, a professional actor in Mumbai. He has completed his Bachelors in Electronics Engineering and post-graduation in MA in Theater Arts from Mumbai University. And now he is currently working in Mumbai as a professional actor and as a motivational speaker also. How he got into this profession was a very motivating story for all of us. By his journey he self-analyzed himself and ups and downs in choosing his career option. Next, he covered how to get into theater. He gave examples of great actors how they earlier used to perform in theater and how they polished their skills and became great actors. If you really want to pursue career in theater then take training from the theater institute. He told the difference between theater and film industry. If you are interested in film industry then take the education of film industry. He gave a very good point that theater only comes when you practice, form groups and do the theater. Topmost institute of India for learning theater is National Institute of Drama, Delhi. This institute offers a 3 year course diploma and graduation is mandatory. He said that everyone has a actor in themselves but the thing is who wants to turn it into profession. He explained theater very well. SUCCESS MANTRA by him was “a person needs to know his/her interest area before choosing any field then only he/she will be able to step towards the goal to achieve it.”
SESSION: 7
In our phase1, we had MANISH MODI for our last session. This session took place on 10th may, 2020 and it was based MBA. He is a project manager in Vodafone Idea Ltd. He choose BBA as his career which is pre- requisite path for MBA. He learned a lot during his work and gained several experiences. He saw many phases in his journey. When asked about the scope of MBA, he answered it like it’s you are the one who can decide what you want to do and MBA teaches you to explore things. But specific scope for this is consulting, senior management, project management and your own start-ups. He recommended to go for the professor’s experience and learn from their experiences in this course. The topmost colleges which he recommended are FMS, IIM’s, SP JAIN, and more. And the fee structure varies from public to private institutions. Entrance exams that need to given for admissions is CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, SNAP etc. There were various questions asked during the session and our speaker answered each question amazingly. The SUCCESS MANTRA which he shared with us was to emphasize on practice. The more you practice the more you get sharp in that skill. And most importantly hard-work, you need to work hard if you want to achieve something. His session was very knowledgeable for all the viewers.
