City and town planning are the subcategories of the broad career of Urban Planning. In this field, an urban planner is responsible to develop and design infrastructure like transportation, and make good use of the land available, and ensure the resources like air and water are not affected. The urban planner needs to analyze the sustainability and congestion that happens because of the construction works. Environmental and social trends play an important role in this field.

Eligibility criteria:

To pursue a bachelor’s degree in Urban planning:

  • The student must pass the 10+2 examination with English and Mathematics as main subjects, with a minimum of 50% total marks.
  • Clearance of cutoff in entrance exams like JEE Main or National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)
